The Madison Riverfront Development Committee was formed on March 18, 1986 by a group of local individuals who had a vision to enhance the natural beauty of the Madison Riverfront while creating an atmosphere which encourages residents and visitors to gather. The primary focus of the organization is to protect the past while enhancing the future. Madison sits on the bank of the Ohio River with breathtaking views of Kentucky and the Ohio River Valley. The famed Madison brick walkway stretches 1.5 miles and serves as a reminder of what a community can accomplish when it works together. The Madison Riverfront Development Committee is a 501 C-3 Organization and all proceeds come from donations and 2 Annual Fundraisers, The Wine, Stein & Barrel along with the Golf Cart / UTV Poker Run. The Madison Riverfront has been Awarded Outstanding Community Development Project by the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns

100% of the donations made to the Riverfront Committee will go to the completion of phase two of the “Super Overlook” project. This new space will be able to hosts public or private events or just to enjoy daily with family and friends.
